Sifu: How to spare bosses for the true ending. Did you know there’s a secret conclusion to Sifu’s game or that you can save bosses?

Did you know there’s a secret conclusion to Sifu’s game or that you can save bosses? When you go for the usual ending, it’s a hard game, so we’ve put together this guide on how to gain the alternate ending.

But be warned: this is a spoiler-filled tutorial, as we’ll teach you how to save all of Sifu’s bosses and get the coveted secret ending.

In Sifu, how do you achieve the secret ending?

If you want to get the secret ending in Sifu, the first thing you must do is complete the game. From Fajar in The Squats through Yang in The Sanctuary, this involves re-beating all five monsters.

Once you’ve completed this, Sifu’s final cinematic will play, but don’t relax just yet; there’s still another trial to complete. The final cutscene implies that your vindictive killing spree is shameful, and that there is another way to deal with the bosses.

The alternate (or ‘real’) ending of Sifu is now accessible. You can skip bosses during combat and be left with the awful prospect of defeating Sifu once more. Of course, if you’ve had enough, you can simply tap out, but the actual finish is well worth the effort.

In Sifu, how do you spare bosses?

To avoid bosses in Sifu, you must travel to the boss arena on each level. The good news is that the game stores your progress, allowing you to use all of the shortcuts you’ve unlocked as well as all of the skills you’ve acquired over time.

Once you’re in the boss arena, you must progress to their second phase and break their structure, just like you did the first time, but do not initiate the death blow takedown when the game prompts you to do so.

You’re going to let them heal, despite the fact that it seems stupid. The boss’s structure bar will return to the orange zone, and you’ll have to deflect or attack the boss for the second time in the second phase to break their structure.

Once you’ve completed this, you’ll be given the option of killing them or sparing them. You can let the boss survive by pressing Left on the D-Pad. To begin the takedown, it can feel like muscle memory, so be cautious while they’re near death and keep your fingers away from Triangle and Circle. There’s nothing worse than killing a boss you’ve worked so hard to keep alive.

You’ll witness the other ending when you’ve saved all of the game’s bosses. We’re not exactly going to tell you what that is, are we?
